You can easily transfer your existing Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) Account from another bank or post office to ICICI Bank.

Transfer Process of the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Account

Process at current bank / post office:

1. Request Transfer: Visit your current bank or post office and submit an SSY Account transfer request, mentioning the ICICI Bank Branch to which you want to transfer the Account.

    

2. Document Transfer: Your current bank or post office will send the necessary documents to ICICI Bank, including:

    

   • A certified copy of your SSY Account details
   • Your Account opening application
   • Specimen signature
   • A cheque or Demand Draft (DD) for the outstanding balance.

Process at ICICI Bank:

The following steps will take place once ICICI Bank receives the transfer documents:

• You will be notified about the transfer
• You need to submit a fresh SSY Account Opening Form along with updated KYC documents at the chosen ICICI Bank Branch.

This ensures a seamless transfer of your SSY Account to ICICI Bank.
