Update Your KYC Details

 

 

Overview

Banks need to periodically update the customer identification documents of their Account Holders in their records to adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines. Customers are required to undergo the Re-KYC process and submit relevant documents to comply with RBI guidelines..

No Change request for Re-KYC

In case of no change in your KYC details such as address, Passport, NRI status proof and FATCA/CRS declaration then a Self declaration to be sent from your registered email ID to nri@icicibank.com stating ‘No change in KYC information’ to complete the Re-KYC process of your accounts with the Bank

 

The passport and NRI status proof (Visa, Resident permits etc.) should be valid in the Bank’s records.

 

Documents Required in case of change in KYC information

  • Identity Proof: Valid Passport

  • Address Proof: Click here for the list of accepted documents

  • Non-Residential Status Proof:
    • Valid Visa/Work Permit/Residence Permit: applicable for Indian passport holders

    • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card (applicable for foreign passport holders)

  • Recent Photograph

  • Customer Information Updation Form (Re-KYC) duly signed by all account holders. For Updation of KYC Documents, Please download form as per Mode of Operation (MOP):

    • SINGLE: Click here to download Primary Applicant form

    • EITHER or SURVIVOR / JOINTLY / ANYONE or SURVIVOR : Click here to download Joint Application Form

      The form is not required if documents are submitted via Internet/Mobile Banking

  • FATCA / CRS Declaration: If there is a change in current country of residence or the FATCA/ CRS declaration has not been submitted earlier, or incorrect Tax Identification Number (TIN) has been submitted. Click here for the declaration.

  • PAN or Form 60: In case the PAN is not held currently / not applicable, as the annual income in India is nil or up to the threshold limit of ₹ 4 lakh, then submit Form 60. Click here for Form 60

A. Internet Banking

Instructions for uploading documents:

 

  • Accepted formats: PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG

  • The length of the file name should not exceed 31 characters

  • The file name should not have any special characters

B. iMobile App

 

Log into your iMobile and follow the path below: Path: Dashboard > Services > Service Requests > Request for updation of Re-KYC File size limit: The file size of each document should not exceed the upper limit of 500 KB.

 

C. Registered Email ID

 

Send scanned copies of the filled and signed Customer Information Updation Form and KYC documents to nri@icicibank.com .

 

D. At Branch

 

Submit the documents in person at any nearest branch of ICICI Bank.

 

  • Visit any ICICI Bank branch in India or overseas.

  • Submit the Customer Information Updation Form (signed by all account holders) along with:

    • KYC documents (The customer must bring the original KYC documents for verification).

    • Photographs of all account holders.

 

E. Direct Request (Courier)

 

Dispatch the documents to the following address in India: : ICICI Bank Towers,

NRICPC, 6th Floor, A-Wing, Autumn Estate,

Opp. MHADA, Near Chandivali Studio,

Andheri-East, Mumbai – 400 072, India.

 

All photocopies of the documents/proofs must be self-attested (self-signed) by the respective document holder.
