What is Lease Rental Discounting (LRD)?

Lease rental discounting is a mortgage loan offered to the customers against the rental income received from the commercial or specialized property which is on lease. The loan eligibility is on the basis of rental income only and no financial documents are required to derive the eligibility.

Who can apply for an LRD Loan?

Only owners of commercial or specialised properties with registered lease agreements and consistent rental inflows are eligible.

Examples of eligible properties include:

  • Offices and commercial complexes

  • Warehouses and industrial units

  • Schools and educational institutions

  • Hospitals and clinics

  • Hotels and banquet halls

  • Marriage gardens

Note: Rental income from residential properties is not eligible for an LRD Loan.
